The Importance of Compliance

At Integra Optics, a brand of Infinite Electronics, all of our transceivers meet the requirements of ISO International Standards, the Trade Agreements Act (TAA Compliant) and RoHS compliance. Details of these certifications and compliance standards are as follows:

ISO Certificate

ISO International Standards ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. Integra Optics holds the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification for the processes involved in the engineering, development, production, distribution, installation, and servicing of our line of fiber optic products. Integra earned ISO certification by focusing on customer support, planning, leadership, a dedicated approach to quality, fact-based decision-making, mutually-beneficial supplier relationships, and, of course, continual improvement.

TAA Compliant

"TAA compliant" means that a product or service meets the requirements of the Trade Agreements Act which mandates that certain government agencies only purchase products and services from countries with which the United States has a trade agreement or that meet certain exceptions.

GSA Schedule Contracts are subject to the Trade Agreements Act (TAA).  TAA compliant means that all products listed on the GSA Schedule Contract must be manufactured or “substantially transformed” in the United States or a TAA “designated country”, of which Integra Optics complies with. The designated countries are composed of:

  • World trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement Countries
  • Free Trade Agreement Countries
  • Least Developed Countries
  • Caribbean Basin Countries

RoHS Compliant

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances, and impacts the entire electronics industry
and many electrical products as well. The original RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union in 2002 and restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. Integra Optics Inc. certifies that we are following the RoHS Directive 2015/863/EU to ban all environment related substances included in the products that are delivered to your company of your subsidiary/associated companies directly or via third parties.
