What’s Coming From Integra Optics In 2018

With all of the new technology on the horizon for the fiber optics industry in 2018, our engineering and product development teams have been working tirelessly to ensure we are providing our customers with innovative components and uptime tools that align with emerging trends. As the industry evolves to address higher speed demands and equipment consolidation, our new product rollouts are positioned to help our customers do more with less.

Industry trends indicate that QSFP28 will be the dominant form factor for most applications in the near future because of its density and versatility. Integra’s staying ahead of the curve and rapidly growing its QSFP28 product line to help push the limits in the upcoming year.

As the industry also moves toward higher speed transceivers and better service, we are also continuing to expand our 40G, 100G, and 200G offerings, with 400G to closely follow.

Furthermore, Integra’s making it easier to search for 100% OEM interoperable parts by simplifying its part numbers. This change means you only have one part to worry about, and it simplifies labeling to minimize errors in the field. More to come in January!

Integra Optics Uptime Kit

Did you know large businesses lose an average of 3.6 percent in annual revenues due to network downtime? We know how expensive rollouts can be and also how frustrating it is to not be able to identify, diagnose, and correct issues on the spot, which is why we have created an all in one kit that field technicians will benefit from.

Originating from customer demand, Integra’s Uptime Kit is a “grab and go” solution for when there is an outage or when you are in a bind. We are offering a variety of case sizes, and a combination of our Smart Coder, meters, and transceivers to complete this field-ready, customized kit. The Integra Uptime Kit helps you save time, money, and most importantly: UPTIME!

CWDM and DWDM meters

One new product line we are releasing in 2018 includes our advanced CWDM and DWDM meters, which have more robust features than our previous meter line.

There is always a demand for new technology in the market that allows us to do our jobs faster and more effectively, which is why we are expediting the release of new meters.

Simple and fast to operate, new features include a touch screen bar/graph display for easier reading and reporting, real time read outs with .5 second updates, and the ability to store up to 1,000 tests.

We are hoping the new CWDM and DWDM meter line helps continue to give our customers a competitive edge in their network by being equipped with the most reliable and advanced technology.
